A loaded power rack is a genuine tip hazard. Strip it down to bare steel first, break it into upright sections, and what looked like a several hundred pound problem becomes a manageable two person job.
Pro tip: Photograph each upright's bolt pattern before disassembly, power racks often have several similar-looking holes for different attachments.
Watch out: A fully loaded rack with plates still on the pegs can tip over during a move, strip it to bare frame before anyone attempts to shift it.
